The Artist

Kristalyn
Miguel

Kristalyn Miguel is a contemporary figurative artist whose work explores what it means to be fully alive.

Working primarily in charcoal and oil on linen, she creates paintings that invite the viewer to feel. Each piece is an exploration of presence — the moments where emotion rises to the surface and we feel ourselves more honestly. She chose these materials the way she chooses her subjects: they made her feel alive. Charcoal, oil, linen. That was reason enough.

Her current body of work, The Alive Series, emerged from a deeply personal awakening. Confronted by the painful realization of how much of life had been lost to numbness and pain, Kristalyn began creating as a way of returning to presence. Each painting represents the beginning of that journey back to feeling deeply and living fully awake.

Mother of three, she lives and works in central Utah, painting from her studio surrounded by open landscapes and a slower rhythm of life. Every painting is created with a commitment to craftsmanship, emotional honesty, and the belief that meaningful art should grow more valuable — not only with time, but with every feeling it brings.

Her work is created for collectors who value depth over decoration and who believe the finest works of art do more than fill a wall — they quietly shape the way we experience ourselves.
